Love the Lord

Love the Lord Your God With all Your Heart,

With all Your Soul, and With all Your Mind.

Mark, 12:29-30 (NKJV)

Jesus told us that’s the greatest commandment.

But how do we demonstrate we truly love the Lord? How do we show Him that we love Him with all our heart, all our soul, and all our mind?

How do we do this 24-hours a day? How do we make our faith the focal point of our lives and still make a living?

This doesn’t mean that you need to go to med school, become a minister, or run off and join the Peace Corps.

It means taking control of your life and your career and focusing on what really matters. Doing that requires making God the center of your life.

Here’s how:

Step 1: Recognize how far away you’ve gotten from having Him at the center of your life.

Step 2: Consider how your pride is controlling your actions.

Step 3: Identify how much your current lifestyle is costing you financially as well as emotionally.

Step 4: Grab a notebook and write down all the ways you want your life to be different.

Step 5: Commit to consciously making changes in your thinking and in your actions and start TODAY!

OK, here’s a bonus step: Say your favorite prayer and ask God for help.
